The Brother Intellifax 5750 is a laser fax machine that can take care of the office with its versatility and features. With an extra large paper capacity, 8MB standard memory, and available high-yield TN460 toner cartridge, the daily function of this machine is low-maintenance. It also lowers the per-piece cost of operating the Intellifax 5750.
Features and Functionality
With a high-speed 33.6K bps Super G3 fax modem, the Intellifax 5750 can transmit fax pages in as little as 2 seconds each. It lives up to its “intelligent” name, too, be being able to automatically slow down to accommodate transactions with slower fax machines. It also protects incoming faxes through the use of passwords that keep confidential documents secure.
The Brother Intellifax 5750 has a total paper capacity of 500 sheets when a secondary tray is added, and also boasts a 50-page auto document feeder for loading pages that need to be faxed or copied. Black-and-white copes can be produced at a speed of up to 15 pages per minute with resolutions in the 600 dpi class. Originals can also be reduced to 50 percent or enlarged to 200 percent.
Faxes can be broadcast to 282 locations, and faxes can still be sent and received while another is being sent. They can also be forwarded and retrieved remotely. Fifty timers allow for delayed transmission, and transmission verification reports let you know when a task has been completed.
Maintenance of the Brother Intellifax 5750 is relatively simple. The large paper capacity means you don’t need to refill often. Ink refills can also be limited through the use of a high-yield replacement TN460 toner cartridge, for as many as 6,000 pages per cartridge. The Intellifax 5750 toner is offered in Black ink only, and is on an auto-alert feature that signifies when it is time to order more.
The Intellifax 5750 can also be used as a printer, and its multiple connectivity options extend its capabilities even further. Whether through the USB, parallel, or Ethernet interfaces, this machine allows for use by either a single user or an entire office or workgroup.
