As a laser fax machine, the Brother Intellifax 5750e can actually go beyond what you might expect. With the ability to copy and print, its features can take care of the entire office. This machine can hold up to 500 sheets of paper and has a standard 8MB of memory that can actually be expanded. A high-yield replacement TN460 toner cartridge is available, and when combined with these other features, day-to-day maintenance of this machine is incredibly low. Features and Functionality
The Intellifax 5750e has a standard paper capacity of 250 sheets, but this can be expanded by adding a second paper tray, for a total of 500 sheets. A 50-page auto document feeder allows for multi-page documents to be loaded for automatic faxing or copying. The monochrome copy feature of the Brother Intellifax 5750e can be used as a stand-alone, which means it does not have to be connected to a computer in order to perform this function. The same is true for sending and receiving faxes. In addition, faxes can be kept confidential through the use of secure passwords.
Faxes themselves can be broadcast out to 282 separate locations, and the dual access feature means that faxes can be loaded into storage while others are being sent or received. Delayed transmission is possible through the use of numerous timers, and a transmission verification report makes sure you are alerted when your fax has been transmitted. Transmission itself happens at the impressive speed of two pages per second due to the 33.6K bps Super G3 fax modem.
The large paper capacity of the Brother Intellifax 5750e is complemented by the optional high-yield replacement TN460 toner cartridge. With a yield of approximately 6,000 printed pages, these toner cartridges lower the per-copy price of operation. A standard TN430 toner cartridge is also available for a lower up-front price, with an output of about 3,000 printed pages. Because it is a monochrome fax machine, both types of Intellifax 5750e toner come in standard Black only.
